When EFT takes pain away, is it permanent?
Often it is permanent but it does return in some cases. This doesn't mean that EFT hasn't worked. On the contrary, the fact that it went away for a while indicates that there are significant emotional contributors to the pain and EFT is especially good at dealing with them. It does mean however that there is more work to do. Maybe more than one incident or issue is contributing to the pain. Maybe there are aspects of the issue not fully resolved yet. In that event, further and thorough application of EFT should improve the situation.
I’ve tried EFT and it didn't work.
While the public at large continue to get good results from applying EFT to themselves, some issues are best dealt with by an EFT practitioner. In most cases where it doesn't seem to work, it’s more likely that EFT was applied incorrectly or not thoroughly. Maybe you weren't specific enough e.g. “My mother didn't love me” is far too global. Better to work through all of the specific times when you felt that way e.g. “she didn't want to come to my school play”, "when she said she hated me" and so on.
Another reason for it appearing not to work is that core beliefs were not addressed. Some problems are supported by beliefs that you may not even be immediately aware of. A practitioner will be on the look out for them and skilful questioning will bring them to the surface.

How can EFT work over the phone?
Once you have learned the basic technique (that takes just a few minutes), you can tap on the points while we talk on the phone. We don’t necessarily need to be in the same room, after all, it's you that's tapping your energy meridians, I am merely a guide. Many people find this a lot more convenient. Some do prefer the face to face contact. Sometimes having someone else do the tapping can make a difference and that option is always available. For EFT to work, you need to tune into the problem (or aspects of it that I will guide you through) while you tap.
